Ocean cruises tend to have bigger ships and can have full days on the ocean. River cruises are usually smaller ships with more frequent ports. Durations vary for each.

If you are particular on the exact type of room you want or the exact location you want on the ship you should choose your specific room. If you have no preference a guaranteed cabin would be a good cost saving option.

Most cruises include basic food and entertainment. Extras include upgraded food and beverage options, excursions, internet, upgraded pool seating options and usually a few activities on board. The vast majority of entertainment and activities are included.

Usually yes, there are usually pre-cruise discounts offered before your sail date.

I can sometimes but not always, it depends on what the cruise line is offering at the time.

Through the cruise is usually the best option but there are some suppliers that offer guaranteed returns. This can be hard to navigate and I will walk you through all of it.

Passports are always highly recommended and sometimes required. Other documentation depends on the port. Caribbean ports are usually passport only, European ports can be different. I will guide you through everything you need.

We will discuss a few different motion sickness options. Pills like Dramamine are an option but you would need to discuss this with your doctor if you are on other prescription medication. There are also motion sickness bands that could be a non-medication option.

This can vary by cruise line. Depending on the severity of the situation. This is one of the reasons it is highly recommended that you purchase travel insurance. In some cases a cruise line will not reimburse you but insurance will. We will go over all options during planning.
